Chris teaches piano, guitar, cello, piano accordion or music theory to a limited roster of individual students, adults or children, face to face or online.
Songwriting and improvisation training is also available for those who wish to take their current musical skills further.
Online music lessons have grown exponentially thanks both to the success of YouTube and recent global events. Instrumental lessons have proved to be effective, enjoyable and convenient for both teacher and pupil, allowing pupils to practise before the lesson and arrive ‘warmed up’, as well as parents being present at lessons and able to observe their child’s progress.
As Director of Music at St Peter’s School, Lympstone, Devon, Chris has many years of experience in accompanying and preparing pupils for ABRSM and Trinity music examinations and specialises in ‘booster’ pre-exam training, enabling musical children to get much better results in just one or two lessons (please note that examination accompaniment is Exeter area only).
Lessons are £25 per half hour, £32.50 per 45 minutes and £40 per hour.
Examination accompaniments are £30 per examination + travel (£20 per half hour).
All Ages and levels welcome.
